Our
building is thought to be the oldest standing house of worship in Eureka Springs.
Beginning in 1880, it was home to the Methodist Episcopal Church (Northern Branch).
It was also used by the Invalid's Association, an enthusiastic group of people
who met to testify to the healing qualities of the waters and to give long and
loud thanks for their cures, and then the Nazarene Church. The building is handicap
accessible.
The building is located at 17 Elk St., in the West Mountain historic residential district of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a nineteenth-century resort town that has come into its own as a tourist destination and artist colony, set in the natural beauty of the Ozark Mountains.
