Services on Sunday begin at 11 AM
RE for K-3!
Sunday morning, perfect weather, the program for today sounds good... You'd like to get out of the house and come to church, but where can you find a sitter for your child? No problem! Here's the solution! Our Religious Education class for youngsters! It's given by the Eureka Unitarian Universalist Fellowship's middle-school girls, during the adult Sunday service, 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Your youngster, just a few feet away as you attend the adult program in the next room.

"Is Deism the Foundation of our Faith?" Deism figured prominently in the lives of the Enlightenment personalities that invented our country. Did its tenets also form the foundations of Unitarian-Universalism? Long time member, Albert Larson, explores the idea.

What Moves Us: Unitarian Universalist Theology. Today, we begin a new series that explores the life experiences of outstanding Unitarian Universalist theologians, highlighting that which caused in them a change of heart, new direction, new hope, and a deeper understanding of their own liberal faith. Our President, Donna Woods, will introduce us to Hosea Ballou. Ballou was the most influential and singularly important Universalist preacher, public theologian, editor, and pastor in 19th-century America. He believed human happiness is a mandate of liberal faith.

Ten years ago she completed the transition into the U.U. ministry and now serves the congregation in Springfield, Missouri. Come to hear what she has to say about who we are.

While copy costs have remained steady, postage has risen 3 cents this year and another 3 cent raise has been requested with the year not yet half over.
Don't forget, we are still short on our matching funds for the building grant. Just put your donations in and envelope marked BUILDING.
